Somatic + Holistic therapy
Your body already knows the way
This work is for the seeker who's ready to go deeper, to come home to their body, their truth, and the version of themselves that moves through life with awareness, power, and wholeness.
A place to return to yourself
You're ready to go deeper. You can feel there's more: more presence, more groundedness, more ease in your own skin. And you're ready to do the work to get there.
Does this sound familiar?
⟢ You feel disconnected from your body, like you're living from the neck up
⟢ You carry experiences that still live in your nervous system, even when you can't find the words
⟢ You're ready to stop managing your life and start actually feeling itYou feel the call to deepen your relationship with your inner truth.
Imagine moving through your life not from survival, but from groundedness.
Feeling at home in your body. Recognizing your own patterns, your own wisdom, your own capacity to heal. Not as a destination, but as a living, unfolding practice.
In this space, your body is not a problem to solve. It is the guide.
This is sacred alchemy. Not just a session, but a rite of passage back to yourself.
How it works:
-

Step 1: Initiation
We begin by creating a field of safety. Together we clarify your intention, attune to what your body is holding, and open the doorway to the work ahead. Safety is not a stepping stone here. It is the foundation.
-

Step 2: Alchemy
Through somatic awareness, movement, creative expression, and therapeutic depth, we move through the layers together. What was stuck begins to shift. What has been held begins to be heard.
-

Step 3: Integration
You leave with practices rooted in your body and your life. Healing unfolds in cycles, and our work together is designed to support you long after the session ends.
Therapy Modalities
These are the holistic and somatic modalities available at Rooted Alchemy Collective. Offerings vary by practitioner, so if something calls to you, let it guide you toward the right fit.
Somatic Trauma Therapy
Release old stories and energetic debris that no longer serve you, and root into your body with strength and clarity.
Holistic Therapy
Weaving together multiple modalities, holistic sessions are tailored entirely to you, your heart, and your therapeutic goals. We journey together through your inner landscape, supporting integration, regulation, and a life lived in deeper connection to yourself.
Expressive Arts Therapy
Using art, writing, music, and movement, expressive arts therapy opens pathways that words alone cannot reach. Creativity becomes the medicine, helping you access new insight, gently process what has been held, and reconnect with your own resilience and voice.
Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY)
TSY is a gentle, choice-based path back into the body. Using yoga forms and breath, we slowly cultivate a felt sense of stability and safety. What begins as awareness in the body naturally moves into presence and power in the rest of your life.
Dance/Movement Therapy
Movement is memory. Through the psychotherapeutic use of dance and movement, we work directly with what the body has been storing, releasing tension, shifting patterns, and restoring a felt sense of vitality and wholeness.
Breathwork and Nervous System Work
Breath is one of the most direct doorways into the nervous system. Through intentional breathwork and nervous system-informed practice, we support your body in finding regulation, expanding your window of tolerance, and building a lasting foundation for calm and resilience.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-supported therapy that helps the brain reprocess experiences that have become stuck in the nervous system. Through bilateral stimulation, we gently revisit what has been held so that it can be integrated, freeing you to move forward with greater ease and a renewed sense of self.
WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING:
“Working with Sara Cate has been the greatest gift for me on multiple levels. To have someone to walk with me as I navigate life’s unexpected, and sometimes extreme, pivots and twists of fate in a way that allows me to express the deepest parts of my soul while feeling safe, seen, and held, is a rare blessing, and one I hope many more people get to experience as Sara Cate continues to expand the magic of her work in the world. She has an uncanny way of bridging the expansive and uncharted spiritual component of the human experience with the need to be anchored in daily physical reality through her keen perceptual awareness, relational presence, somatic embodiment work, and nervous system regulation. She is the walking embodiment of what all-encompassing therapy should look like; I would not be living the life I’m living now, as the version of myself I currently am, without Sara Cate’s unconditional support and care. She is beyond any professional designation or title - she is sacred medicine for the human mind, body, and soul.” - Anonymous
“I highly recommend Sami for her expertise, professionalism, caring, and support in delivering quality care to her sports psychology clients. I started to work with her on confidence in my sport. She not only helped me with mental strength in the pool but also in the classroom. I consider Sami a friend and she really helped me to grow as a person and an athlete.” – K
“Through working with Sara, I was able to find parts of myself that I had previously lost and that I may never have found otherwise. I have been able to heal and continually become more of a whole person. She helps me recognize my truest self and move forward by observing and listening to my body. Since working with Sara and my body in this way, I have cultivated the resources within myself to pursue my dreams, something I never saw myself actually doing before I started working with Sara. I couldn’t have done this without the support, knowledge, and gentle self-exploration Sara led me through and continues to lead me through.” – Anonymous
“I worked with Sami related to sports performance and other aspects of my relationship with endurance exercise and competition. I was constantly impressed with her depth of knowledge, and her ability to provide creative solutions to challenges, often with reference to remarkable resources. As a triathlete and runner who takes his hobby seriously, it was fun to discuss the mental and psych side of sport with someone who understands so well the various issues one encounters inside and outside of training and racing. While I sought help as an athlete, Sami helped me grow as a person through the lens of my workouts and competitions. I'm grateful to have connected with her, and credit much of my recent successes to her guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone considering working with a sports psychologist.” - A
